As the 2022 financial year-end is coming to an end on 28 February 2022, here are some important dates to keep into consideration:

• 31 January 2022: Provisional taxpayers that use Efiling.
• 28 February 2022: Provisional tax payments due for 2022/02.
• 31 May 2022: With the filing season opening on 1 April 2022, EMP 501 declarations are required to be submitted, including any outstanding EMP 201 declaration to avoid any interest and penalties.
• 31 May 2022: Workman’s Compensation fund return of earnings to be submitted.
• 31 August 2022: Provisional tax payments due for 2023/01.
• 31 October 2022: Individual taxpayers – branch filing.
